Last year I blogged about all the bargains available at Aldi for their gluten-free special buy (just in time for coeliac awareness week next week).
Of course, this time it’s different; I’m not suggesting you dash to Aldi to stock up on non-essentials. However, if you’re thinking of doing your weekly shop there-here are the bargains you can find. Remember, if you’re not able to go to the supermarket, it could be worth looking into Morrisons gluten-free box, gluten-free recipe boxes that are still ordering. or these gluten-free baking kits you can order online.
Schar Wholesome White Loaf (300g, £1.75) and Ciabatta Rolls (200g, £1.49)
I love the Schar rolls in particular and this is a great price-they’re longer life so perfect to keep in the cupboard for emergencies.
B-Free Gluten Free Sweet Potato Wraps (6 pack, £2.99) and Gluten Free Pitta Breads (6 pack, £2.99)
I’d heard that B-Free wraps are coming to the co-op which is great, so I can’t get too excited about this; the prices seem just as expensive as other supermarkets too.
Fullgreen’s Cauliflower Rice (200g, £1.99)
Fullgreen’s cauliflower rice is a great alternative to regular rice (although I prefer the sweet potato one). It’s actually easy enough to make your own cauliflower rice or you know, just eat actual rice, so I’ll give this one a miss!
Old El Paso Gluten Free Fajita Kit (462g, £2.99).
That’s more like it! I’ve seen people report this as low as £1.99 in Lidl, but I’ve never found it so this seems like a great deal, as it’s as high as £4.99 in Tesco.

There’s five flavours: peppercorn Sauce (25g), Chicken Fajita Mix (28g) , Cheddar Cheese Sauce (40g) , Spaghetti Bolognese Recipe Mix (40g) and Chilli Con Carne Mix (41g) .
Betty Crocker Gluten Free Devil’s Food Chocolate Cake Mix (425g, £1.99)
