With another lockdown now in place, it’s likely that we might struggle to get our hands on gluten-free foods once again. Today I thought I’d round up my top recommendations for buying gluten and dairy-free food online.

Of course, supermarkets are very much still an option but with slots filling up and people ordering gluten-free food because it’s the one left on the shelves, we know gluten-free food can quickly fall in short supply. So here’s a roundup of all the places you can currently buy gluten-free food online..

Where can I buy the essentials?

Morrisons

1. Morrison’s boxes: I wrote about these when they launched but they’re still on sale and full of staples. Read more here

2. Amazon Subscribe and Save: gluten-free pasta and gnocchi, I order these on subscribe and save each month!

3. Melted Inside has some great gluten-free products by small artisian producers, you can see my review of it here.

4. Heavenly Free From has a range of boxes on sale-I’ve heard their gluten-free and dairy-free pizza twist is amazing!

5.For gluten-free pies try The Pie Bakery, VOAKES and Eat Square

Where can I buy gluten-free pizza /bases online?

Meatless Farm Cheezeburger Pizza 2

1.Lo Dough for low fat gluten-free pizza bases (do contain wheat starch but this is gluten-free)

2. Venice Bakery for amazing gluten-free bases and flatbreads.

3. One Planet Pizza (pictured above) do an amazing gluten-free vegan pizza box. The meatless cheese pixxa is insane.

4. Wheat Free Bakery do all sorts of gluten-free items including pizza bases.

Where can I buy gluten-free recipe boxes and kits?

Gousto

2.Good It’s Gluten Free is a recipe box specifically for those of us who are gluten-free!

3. Gluten free KFC mix: lo-dough do this as do a company called Freee Chicks

4. Tastesmiths kits: These are great curry kits that I have been using for a while now. I am also running a giveaway to WIN a £20 voucher for their products here.

Where can I buy gluten-free flour online and gluten-free baking kits?

1. Flower and White do a range of bread and cake mixes; I love their flapjack mix.

2. Holland and Barrets still have gluten-free flour in stock (tip: use the app as there’s often discount vouchers for using it)

3. WOW Cake Company sell flour, brownie mixes and carrot cake mixes.

Where can I buy gluten-free snacks and sweet treats online?

2.GF Snack Box is a monthly box of gluten-free snacks with a vegan box available too.

3.The Vegan Kind is one of my favourite places to order dairy free snacks online.

4.The Curly Cow: all of their sweets are gluten free.

5.Goodness Grain are a gluten-free bakery who do a range of dounuts, cakes and breads. You can also order a monthly subscription box if you’re worried about running out!

6.Wildcraft Bakery is another on my list to try and their bread is free from 14 allergens!

  1. Excellent list! Now that lockdown is over so some vital lessons learned. Always keep a stock of gluten-free and another healthy foodstuff stored for these emergencies, something never expected in even wildest of dreams.
