One of my favourite types of posts to write is when I discover all the new products to try! Here are the things I loved this month…

1.Coconuts Organic

I love discovering new dairy-free ice creams and this one is amazing! It’s made with coconut cream so it’s also soya free and nut-free! What’s more, its soil association approved organic and contains no refined sugar. I really loved these-especially the caramel flavor! Available at Tesco and Ocado.
2.Cochie Shakie

Who loved strawberry milkshakes from Mcdonalds? Well those are a thing of the past now I’m dairy-free but this does come pretty close! Coochie sent me some of their ‘cheese spreads’ too but I personally preferred the shakes as they weren’t as ‘cheesy’ as I’d like. I really loved the shakes though and they also come in mango flavour.
3.Perkier! Porridge pots

These are lovely and one of the few porridge pots that are dairy-free too! They’re made with coconut cream so they’re lovely and creamy and the cranberries bring a little bit of sweetness. Available in most supermarkets.
4. Jubel

Fruity beer that’s gluten-free!!! I am not a huge fan of regular beer-gluten free or not-but this fruity version is amazing! The peach flavour is my favourite! It’s available in Sainsbury’s.
5. Inspired Vegan Bearnaise Sauce

I’m not sure where this is sold as I found it in a farm shop near me but this is lovely! It’s vegan and gluten free- a great sauce for with fish or just something different to regular mayo.
6. Tesco Free-From Strawberry Cheesecake

These are lovely! Well done Tesco! They’re also egg and milk free-its so nice to have cheesecake again!
7. Made Good Granola Bars

These granola bars are great for those with multiple allergies; they’re free from peanut, tree nut, soy, dairy, egg, fish, shellfish, gluten, and sesame and made in specialist free-from facilities! They are perfect for kid’s lunch boxes but I’ve been enjoying them as a quick and easy breakfast option or a snack to have when on the go. The banana ones are amazing!
8. Biomel

I’ve seen Biomel in most supermarkets and they offered me the chance to try a few bottles. I’m always looking for ways to get some more good bacteria in my gut and these are a dairy-free version! It’s too soon to say if they’ve helped my gut yet-especially since I recently started a medication which can upset your belly!- but I’m enjoying taking one each morning and the taste is lovely! The dark chocolate is really indulgent!
9. Davina Steel Baking Kits

I think these have been around for a while but I was sent a range of baking kits from Davina Steel so they’re new for me to try! The range includes pizza bases, scones, Foccacia and choc chip Foccacia. I have just ordered some fast acting yeast from Amazon today (you need this to use them) so I haven’t managed to try them yet but I thought they sounded great so wanted to give them a mention!
10. Aldi’s Bombay Potato

I mentioned this in my gluten-free Aldi post but I really loved this bombay potato! It’s only 99p and a perfect side dish for a curry.
11. Coop Breaded Cod

A new product AND a yellow sticker bargain! My husband found this by chance in the coop a few days ago-and I was really excited! I actually prefer this to M&S ; the batter is really crispy and thick and its really great portion sizes too! Well done co-op!
12. Daisy and Dom Snacking Chocolate

I bought this from Superdrug as a healthier alternative to the Bournville buttons I keep demolishing! It’s quite rich so you can’t eat much at a time (probably a blessing for me!) but it’s 70% cocoa and the pink salt and rice provide a nice crunch!
13. FERME

Lots of vegan cheeses are made from oils or soya, so its fab to find one that’s actually properly plant-based. This one is made from a blend of fermented cashews, paprika, onion, and salt. I had this on a pasta bake last night and really liked it!
14. Tilda Summery Rice Salad

Rice is rice, right? Well, actually, this is hands down one of the best rices I’ve ever tried-it’s almost a complete meal. It’s really zesty (as it uses lemon and mint) and also has a mix of chickpeas, red rice, and basmati rice. I had this with some fish and it was delicious; no need to add the usual mayo or other sauces to liven it up! You can get it in most supermarkets and its vegan too.
15. Health Lab Protein Balls

These clever little protein balls are really nutrient-dense. They’re gluten and dairy-free, and the gut health ball contains added probiotics! They also do a collagen-rich one! Available at Waitrose.
