AD-review products
On A Balanced Belly, I regularly cover new gluten-free launches-especially ones that offer great value for money! So when I heard Amazon was launching their Amazon gluten free range I was really intrigued.
by Amazon is a range of affordable products that are brought to you directly by Amazon.co.uk. As well as offering everyday staples and fresh produce, they also offer plant-based, vegan, gluten-free, and organic ranges. I was, of course, most intrigued by Amazon’s Free From range-a new collection of affordable, own-brand gluten-free products, many of which are dairy free too.

My thoughts on Amazon’s gluten-free range?
I was really impressed by the range.
I was really impressed by the Amazon gluten free range. First to try, was the pasta and lasagne. This is really competitively priced (£1.10 for the spaghetti and £1.20 for the lasagne) and on par with other gluten-free brands that we’d tried for taste! It cooked well and didn’t at all fall apart on cooking!
After this, we tried the burgers. These are a great price at £1.55 for 2 gluten-free, vegan burgers. They’re one of the cheapest vegan burgers I’ve seen and use pea protein. They were really tasty and manage to replicate the meat-like texture. Amazon also does plant-based sausages that were gluten-free. I’ll definitely be repurchasing both of these.
The biscuits were the last thing to try. The Free From Chocolate Chip Cookies (£1.45) are also dairy-free and these tasted really chocolatey. They dunk really well too and I’ll definitely buy them again! The Digestives (£1.40) are a little blander and I probably wouldn’t repurchase them. There were also a few other biscuits in the range that contained dairy so my partner ate them (the chocolate digestives, £1.40) and was also impressed.
Overall, it’s a really great l0w-cost range which is great if you need to order gluten-free food quickly in a hurry!
