Three resealable packs of Gregor’s Original Umani Dressing & Marinade, perfect for adding savoury flavour to salads, meat, fish, and vegetables.

Giveaway: Win a 6 month supply of Umani Gluten Free Vegan Dressing.

Once in a while I come across a product I’m really excited and can’t wait to blog about! Umani Dressing is definitely one of them. I picked this dressing up at The Good Food Show in Birmingham a few months back and ended up contacting the maker’s of the product to tell them how I impressed I was with it. They very kindly offered to help me host a giveaway on the blog and will offer the lucky winner a 6 month supply of this dressing delivered to your door (you’ll get a bundle of dressings delivered once a month for six months)

I know there’s tons of dressing and marinades on the market at the moment but the ingredients of this one really stands out. Here’s what it contains: Apple balsamic vinegar, grapeseed oil, rice miso (whole brown rice, soybeans, water, sea salt), umeboshi puree (ume plums, sea salt, shiso leaves), water, tomato puree, shiitake mushroom, black pepper.

Yes that’s right, it’s completely natural! This is literally the first dressing I’ve found that doesn’t contain any of the usual fillers of sugar, yeast, preservatives and wheat! What’s more I’ve already blogged about how good miso is for you in my post on good gut health so this is a great way to get the benefits of this fermented food.

It’s a really versatile dressing too as you can use it in cooking or as a dressing/dip. So far I’ve used it in the following ways:

  • A gluten free alternative to Pad Thai Sauce. Just mix 2 tablespoons with a glug of gluten free soy sauce and stir fry!
  • A marinade for salmon- just drizzle over before popping in the oven.
  • A dipping sauce for homemade sweet potatoe wedges.

You can buy this product online or in various London stockists. Click here for more information on stockists or try your luck by entering my giveaway below! Good luck!

  1. I got some of Gregor’s Umami Dressing at the Good Food Show too and thought it was fab. I marinaded some chicken wings in the sauce overnight and then oven cooked them and they were fab. I think they were even better cold the next day too.
