Hi everyone! It’s been a while since my third trimester update so I thought I’d do a little video and blog post about how I’ve been getting on since then! I’m now almost 33 weeks (on Friday) and whilst it does feel like it’s dragging a little bit-I’m really grateful to be getting nearer and nearer!
One thing that helps it go a little bit quicker is the fact the appointments become a lot more regular. As well as seeing my gastro doctor each month, you might know, I am having regular growth scans and my last one was at about 2 weeks ago at almost 31 weeks. He had a big growth spurt and his graph looked great so they were really pleased with him. That was a huge relief for me as it has been nearly two months since I stopped my Humira so knowing he was growing despite this helped lots!
Although I’ll still be anxious at my next appointment (in 2 weeks at 35 w) it is a great relief to see my bump growing bigger and bigger (and his movements getting stronger and stronger). Unfortunately, my acid reflux has massively kicked in-usually in the middle of the night which is doing wonders for my sleep!
I also have been struggling a little bit with low iron-which I’ll go into more detail about in another blog post! I’m also hoping to FINALLY get my c-section date at that 35w appointment too. I think I’ve mentioned before that I’m having a C-Section due to my previous fistula surgeries, but lots of people keep assuming I’m having a ‘regular’ birth (whatever one of those are!) so thought I’d mention it again!
Anyway, I’ve just uploaded a new Youtube video which you can watch below-all about the essentials I’ve really relied on this trimester. From the supplements, I have been taking since finding out I was pregnant to what’s in my hospital bag, pregnancy skincare and more. You can watch on Youtube here or watch below! I’ve found lots of great new discoveries!

In order to choose the best hospital, ask which hospitals they think give the best care for your condition. Ask how well these hospitals check and improve their quality of care. It’s going to be okay!
