My Everyday Inspirations

Happy Monday! Although Monday is definitely my least favourite day, I thought I would share some positivity with you today by blogging about the things that inspire me most.

First up is things that inspire me to my write! Gorgeous stationary is pretty much-guaranteed inspo for me so I picked up this A3 notebook from Paperchase it the weekend. I made sure to buy an A3 one so I’ve got plenty of space for all of my blogging ideas; I find A4 ones too small to plan posts. I also made another exciting purchase this weekend: a voice to text recorder. I’m planning to blog lots more this year and have other exciting writing projects in the pipeline (which I’ll share soon!) so I decided to invest in one of these. I’m really hoping it’ll be perfect for when blog inspiration jumps into my head!

The next thing that inspires me is my lovely puppy Stevie. I must admit I often find ways to shoehorn pictures of dogs into my blogs but given that little Stevie is completely blind but still loving life I decided she definitely deserved a place on this list!

There are also a ton of bloggers out there who inspire me; especially those I met at Blognix. For those of you who don’t know- Blognix is a bloggers retreat that took place just over a week ago. On the way to the retreat I was pretty fed up as I was having a rough day at work but by the time I left I was so inspired! There are so many bloggers out there who are just owning it and leading the way for more of us to do what we love. I came away with a notebook full of ideas and even in this week I’ve seen a huge traffic increase by following the many useful tips. Special shout-outs go to:

  • Monica from Travel Hack who gave such a great talk on working with PRs and brands. The way she’s grown her blog into a business is amazing and she’s launching an e-course on this soon!
  • Laura Wilson from Wholeheartedly Healthy. If you read lots of health blogs, Laura will already be on your radar. She gave a talk on self-care which really got us all thinking and I was even lucky enough to grab her for some advice on my blog. I came away brimming with ideas.
  • Holly from Hey Holly June who left me in awe (but slightly exhausted) when she reeled off all the amazing things she did outside of her 9-5.  Holly gave a talk on ‘time managment for those who want to do it all’ which is basically my life! I left determined to dedicate more time to my blog, nutrition studies, learning SEO and making the most of my little space on the internet.

So if that list hasn’t left you feeling a bit more inspired this Monday, I’m not sure what will!
