AD: Today I’ve teamed up Voyage Prive who have some bargains if you are planning a last-minute UK break (should it of course be safe and legal to do so where you are!) They’ve asked me to share my favourite UK destinations and I have picked Dublin!
With more of us opting for staycations than ever before, I thought it might be useful to create another gluten and dairy-free guide. If you’re new here, I’ve already covered Birmingham, Stratford upon Avon, Cambridge, and London but today we’re back with another city guide!
If you follow me on Instagram, you might remember me going to Dublin this year with the lovely Sarah from Gluten Free Blogger for a blogging event.
It was my first time visiting Ireland and we discovered lots of amazing places so I thought why not share my gluten and dairy-free guide to Dublin with you?
For the journey: Ryanair and Jump Juice Bar

Just a heads up that if you are flying with Ryanair, they offer both a gluten-free, vegan and dairy-free lasagne and it’s actually pretty decent and reasonably priced! Yes, I was shocked too!
At Dublin Airport, there’s a few options too but Jump Juice bar do great juices!
1. The best gluten-free burger in Dublin: Bunsen

This was the first meal we ate in Dublin and wow, what an introduction to gluten free Dublin eating!
The burger chain across Dublin offers gluten-free buns (for a small charge) and fries cooked in separate fryers! The staff is very hot on cross-contamination and the burger tasted amazing! Definitely my favourite place for being gluten-free in Dublin.
2. For gluten-free brunch in Dublin Platform 61
A great brunch spot, Platform 61 has a range of gluten-free options avaliable on it’s menu.
3. For gluten-free cakes in Dublin: Lolly and Cooks

Lolly and Cooks do great gluten and dairy-free cakes along with quick breakfast options like gluten-free overnight oats and protein balls to go.
Their lemon and rosemary cake is excellent and I enjoyed the overnight oats too!
The only thing I noticed is the gluten-containing cakes were quite closely located to the gluten-free ones.
4.Gluten Free Fish and Chips in Dublin: Beshoff Fish and Chips
This chain has a dedicated gluten-free menu served daily at it’s Clontarf, Dame Street, Malahide and Mespil Road stores. You can see the menu here. I didn’t eat here myself as we didn’t have time but it sounds AMAZING!
5. Fresh The Good Food Market

A note that if you’re heading to Dublin, there’s no need to pack a suitcase full of snacks like I usually do!
Fresh! The Good Food Market is all around Dublin and has some great brands if you are gluten and dairy free.
Goodness Grain was an amazing Irish gluten-free brand I discovered (wish I could have fit more in my suitcase for the return journey!) and there’s also much more variety of Promise gluten-free there too compared to what we get in the UK.
Where next?
If you don’t fancy visiting Dublin, there are plenty more UK places that could take your fancy:be it a culture break, a relaxation one or a sightseeing one! Do check out Voyage Prive’s last-minute offers along with my round-up of my four other favorite gluten-free UK destinations.
