I haven’t shared a new recipe for ages so what better way to start the weekend with this beauty? Ever miss McDonald’s now your gluten-free? Is it even a Sunday if you’re not chowing down on a sausage and egg McMuffin? Well now you can with my gluten and dairy-free ‘fakeaway’ version.
I’m not going to pretend this recipe is virtuous, but it will help satisfy any Mcdonald’s craving you’re having I think! It contains everything the regular McMuffin does too-egg, sausage meat, cheese, and even a cheeky hash brown substitute too!
What can you eat if you are gluten and dairy-free at Mcdonalds?

There are no breakfast options really being gluten and dairy-free at Mcdonalds but there are a few things you can have-like the fries and the burgers without the bun and the cheese. But my favourite gluten and dairy-free thing to have at Mcdonald’s is ordering their vegetable deluxe burger without the bun-the result is two gluten-free, vegan pesto goujons and it’s delicious!
Side Dish for with my gluten and dairy-free sausage and egg Mcmuffin

If you need a side dish, why not make my gluten and dairy-free sweet potato hash browns to go with it? They only use 3 ingredients!
What you’ll need for my gluten and dairy-free sausage and egg mcmuffin…

-1 gluten-free muffin (I used B Free’s muffins)
-1 egg
-1 sausage square patty (Heck’s fair and square are perfect for this)
-1 slice of vegan cheese (I used Violife)
-1 potato rosti. (I used Mash Direct’s potato rosti but you could make your own or use my sweet potato hash brown recipe)
How to make it

It’s really easy to make. Simply cook the square patty and rosti in the oven, whilst frying your egg. Once the square patty is nearly done, add a slice of vegan cheese over the top to melt it and then pop your muffin in the toaster. Compile and serve!

Had a GREAT burger today. Looking forward to seeing you again.
