Friday Favourites

It’s Friday already- yay! Last week I blogged about some great free-from discounts and freebies. This week I’ve got even more lovely bits and bobs to share with you!

1.It’s officially advent calendar season and I’m love with the wellness advent calendars I shared on the blog earlier this week. My favourite is probably the Photo Advent Calendar from Not On The High Street. I just love the idea of revealing a snap each day; a perfect gift for someone.

2.   I finally registered my Sparks (M&S Points card) card this week and I’m glad I did. I was given 10% of all food as an                         introductory offer- which given how great Marks and Spencers are for food bits. You can also pick 20% off clothes and home.

3. I am just loving Gluten Free Cup of Tea’s supermarket Christmas round-ups where she highlights the best ‘free-from’ xmas ranges so thought I’d share her blog with you if you haven’t already read it! I am loving her Marks and Spencers Christmas round up in particular! I just went to my local M&S today and found that most of the Xmas party food is buy one get one free (plus the 10% from the sparks card!).

4. The wellness scene is really growing but it’s bloody expensive! That’s why I was intrigued to read about Thrivo– an online portal for all health conscious bargain hunters. The site features exclusive codes and discounts for healthy food and fitness items; perfect for xmas food hauls.

5. I used my the vouchers I got when I joined the Schar discount club (you get 2 pounds of vouchers for free!) to stock up on rice cakes. I am kind of obsessed with rice cakes at the moment (just love the crunch with some humus!) and these are simply 100% brown rice.

6. Together Multi-Vit. I usually avoid multi-vitamins as they’re quite harsh on the stomach and can also have lots of added nasties. I saw these Together Multi-Vit and Minerals at Holland and Barrets and was really impressed. They’re a wholefood complex made of powdered fruit/veg and as a result much easier to digest. I’m heading to week 2 and they haven’t upset my stomach at all so they may be a winner.

7 Next week is Crohn’s and Colitis Awareness week so expect lots of posts full of info and advice on living with IBD. Can’t wait? Check out my IBD posts here.

I have a packed weekend visiting the Good Food Show on Sunday and then a blogger event in Brum (The #PLBSantasgrotto) on Saturday. What have you got planned this weekend?
