I’ve always been a bit of a herbal tea lover- being dairy free means our hot drink choices can be limited otherwise!-but recently I’ve been enjoying experimenting with new flavors and blends! Peppermint is always my fail-safe but I thought I’d dedicate this blog post to sharing a few more tea blends I’ve been loving this month.
1.TEA REX Wakey Wakey
TEA REX (Get it?!) are a brand new tea company that I’m really excited about and are not like anything I’ve seen before! You receive a box of cold-pressed pouches- which contain your tea ingredients (the one I’m loving is a combination of fresh turmeric, lemongrass, and ginger) which you then keep refrigerated. You use a supplied filter to brew (it’s actually really straightforward)it-and it tastes exactly like my attempts at fresh turmeric tea (just much quicker and easier to do!). Turmeric and ginger can both be great for digestion and inflammation.
2.Sainsbury’s Caramel Rooibos
A trip to Sainsbury’s last week revealed this beauty! I am a big rooibos fan anyway but this is so creamy and really does taste exactly like caramel (god knows how as I’ve checked as there’s no added sugar or sweeteners or anything like that). Perfect for after dinner when you’re craving chocolate (I mean, eat the chocolate anyway if you’d like, but have this as well!)
3.Joe’s Tea Co Chocca-Roo-Brew
Another Roobios option- how I have only discovered this flavor of herbal tea! Joe’s chocca-roo-brew is an amazing combo of chocolate chips, rooibos, s and vanilla pods. A perfect alternative to hot chocolate (although if you are a hot chocolate fan, ran my guide to dairy-free hot chocolates here) If you’re more of a fruity person, then their wild berries and herbs brew (pictured) might be more up your street. Joe’s have all sorts have amazing flavours and it’s all organic.
4. Tea Huggers Good Night Tea
I love chamomile but it can get a bit boring after a while. This Tea Hugger’s blend is my favorite of an evening. It contains chamomile, lavender and lemon balm for a fruity kick! Lavender and chamomile are both amazing for helping you unwind whilst lemon balm is thought to help with stress.
5. Pukka Three Gingers Tea
This is my go to if my digestion isn’t great. The ginger and turmeric combination has a real kick to it and warms my belly in an instant! I’ve always got a few of these teabags in my handbag.
