If you’re interested in booking a consultation with me but want to ask some more questions then this Frequently Asked Questions page should help!
Are you qualified?
Yes. I became interested in nutrition after my Crohn’s diagnosis in 2012. After 5 years of study, I finally qualified as a Nutritional Therapist in 2017. My diploma is regulated by the Federation of Nutritional Therapists and the IICT. I am also fully insured. While this is vital, I feel my real life experience is just as important. I have lived with a digestive disease, figuring out what I can eat and what I can’t since 2012 and manage my symptoms, fatigue, deficiencies, and diet on a daily basis. I have written a book on the topic of gut health and been in featured in a variety of publications including The Mail On Sunday, The Guardian and Metro Online.
What if I can’t afford it?
I completely understand and I am very passionate about making information accessible to all. That’s why I offer lots of free blog posts, ebooks and have a few cheaper products- my book (which is under a fiver) and my flare up plan. On Fridays I offer free 15 minute slots to chat things through.
Do you have any examples of anyone who has used your nutrition services in the past?
Yep plenty- here are a few testimonals. I’d be more than happy to put you in touch with any of these clients for a quick chat…
Absolutely- that’s why personalised nutriton advice is so important. But there’s things that all of us have in common- we all need to try to maximise the amount of nutrients we can absorb, we all need to get a healthy balance of protein and fat and figure out foods that help us and foods that can make things worse. I believe the best way to do this is by working with you to analyse your food diary in detail and work with you to figure out a diet that’s right for you.
Can you come to my house?
I offer home visits to the following areas: Solihull, Dorridge, Knowle, Henley in Arden and Stratford Upon Avon.
Do you offer programmes?
Yes, I do. A one-off consultation is suitable for some people but I prefer to work with people long term. I charge £60 per consultation but offer discounted rates for those who sign up to my 3-month ‘gut health reboot’. This includes…
- Initial consultation
- 2 further follow-up consultations across a 3 month period
- Email/telephone support on a weekly basis
- A full meal plan with lots of recipes.
- Additional extras such as food intolerance testing.
This program costs £150 and must be paid for when booking the initial consultation.
